Semi-Finished
Our Semi-Finished or Stock Shape materials encompass our Fluorinoid® range which has been developed in-house to provide our customers with the highest quality materials.
We produce Rod & Tube at three of our manufacturing sites and Sheet and Tape at one site.
Using our proprietary in-house manufacturing process, we are able to produce low-stress PTFE rods in lengths up to 2000 mm (78”), specifically designed for high-precision machining within exceptionally tight tolerance bands. This capability is unique to Fluorocarbon, with no other manufacturer worldwide able to offer the same combination of length, stability, and precision.
Our Fluorinoid® Company materials register has more than 500 individual grades, many we have developed with our customers whilst recommending solutions to suit their specific applications.
Our Product Range
Using our in-house facilities, all PTFE sheet & tape products can be supplied chemically etched on one or both sides using the Fluoroetch® etching process.
Specialising in high quality PTFE compression moulded and extruded rod and tube, we offer a wide range of diameters and lengths suitable for today's modern machining.
