Polyether ether ketone (PEEK) is an organic thermoplastic polymer in the polyaryletherketone (PAEK) family, used in engineering applications.
Because of its robustness, PEEK is used to fabricate items used in demanding applications, including bearings, piston parts, pumps, HPLC columns, compressor plate valves, slip rings and cable insulation.
PEEK one of the few plastics compatible with ultra-high vacuum applications and as such is used in the Semicon industry for wafer equipment, circuit boards, micro electronics, insulators, manifolds and pipes & fittings.
PEEK is also extensively used in the aerospace, automotive, and chemical process industries.
