MATERIAL REFERENCE – FLUORINOID® FL300
DESCRIPTION- ETFE (copolymer of ethylene and tetrafluoroethylene)
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS- FL300 is a rugged thermoplastic fluoropolymer with an outstanding balance of properties and a continuous use temperature rating of 150°C. ETFE is weather resistant and inert to most solvents and chemicals. It is an excellent low loss dielectric with a uniformity of electrical properties not found in other thermoplastics. It can be used architecturally as a film for weather protection due to its excellent tear resistance and light transmission. The material is also good for use as Distance Strips and Blister Strips in Ammonia production due to its chemical and electrical resistance along with FL305 PFA.
