For food and beverage applications: FDA-compliant and EU food contact regulation-compliant material grades available. F-LON® food-safe coating systems formulated to FDA requirements. Full material certification confirming food contact compliance issued with every delivery.
For automotive applications: APQP and PPAP documentation available. SPC data can be provided where required. Complete documentation and traceability supplied as standard. Automotive-specific quality planning integrated into the production process at the enquiry stage.
For chemical processing and general industrial applications: Full material traceability and certificate of conformance with every delivery. Chemical resistance data and material certification confirming grade and specification are available on request.

Adding Fluorocarbon to your approved supplier list is a structured process. Here is what you can expect at each stage and what we provide to support your internal qualification requirements.
Complete supplier information pack is provided on request: ISO9001 certificate, manufacturing capability overview, material and process scope, regulatory compliance documentation for the relevant sector, and examples of standard documentation outputs.
For regulated applications, particularly medical, pharmaceutical, and food contact, material and component samples are supplied for customer evaluation and testing before production commitment.
Test requirements and acceptance criteria agreed at this stage, including any biocompatibility, FDA compliance, or sector-specific performance tests.
First articles are produced and inspected against all drawing requirements before production release.
Process parameters locked at first article approval and controlled through the production lifecycle to ensure batch-to-batch consistency.

Case Study: When the clamps freeze, production stops: F-LON® 7120 solved both problems at once
A pharmaceutical manufacturer operating liquid gas tanker delivery systems faced two problems simultaneously: the triclover clamps used to secure the delivery pipework were freezing to the pipes during decanting operations, causing downtime every time the delivery system needed to be disconnected, and the clamps required chemical resistance to withstand the aggressive environment of a pharmaceutical liquid gas delivery system.
Fluorocarbon applied F-LON® 7120, an advanced chemical-resistant coating with cryogenic stability, to the inner surfaces of the clamps. The coating prevented the freezing adhesion between clamp and pipe, allowing straightforward removal of the delivery system even in frozen conditions, while simultaneously providing the chemical protection the environment demanded.
